Originally from Mission, British Columbia, Wiebe arrived on the UND campus in 2023, stepping into one of college hockey’s most demanding and tradition-rich programs.

At 6-foot-3, Wiebe combines length and mobility with a calm, confident style that allows him to excel in transition and defend with efficiency. Before coming to Grand Forks, he captained the Chilliwack Chiefs in the BCHL, where he stood out as one of the league’s most complete defensemen.
