Keaton Verhoeff is a steady two-way defenseman for the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks, recognized for his size, poise, and ability to play a complete game. Hailing from Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Verhoeff brings a blend of physical presence and puck-moving ability to the UND blue line.

Joining the program in 2024 as a freshman, Verhoeff arrived with a strong reputation from his junior career in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), where he stood out as a reliable defender capable of logging heavy minutes.

With his reach, calm decision-making, and ability to contribute on both ends of the ice, Verhoeff is expected to be a key part of North Dakota’s defensive core and continue the program’s tradition of producing elite blueliners.
