Josh Zakreski is a skilled forward for the University of North Dakota Hockey team, recognized for his offensive creativity, quick release, and high compete level. Each shift, he looks to generate scoring chances while playing with pace and energy.

A native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Zakreski developed his game in Western Canada before making the jump to college hockey with the Fighting Hawks. His scoring touch and ability to play in key situations have made him a valuable addition to UND’s forward corps.

Zakreski is known for his ability to create offense, his relentless forecheck, and his willingness to battle in tough areas. His team-first mindset and drive to make an impact make him an exciting piece of North Dakota’s lineup.
