Founded in 1883, six years before North Dakota became a state, our University of North Dakota founders believed they could make a difference. And they did. In academics, in athletics and in our community.

Sandi has loved coffee since she was young. It's in her blood. Her great-grandmother always had a cup ready to share and lived by the motto, "Conversations are better with coffee."

A passion for entrepreneurship grew as Sandi completed her Ph.D. at UND. And as Bully Brew Coffee evolved from a small venue in a nursing home to five Midwest coffee houses, a roastery and a bakery, it has attracted community partners to develop exciting product lines -- such as cold brew cans. Through it all, Sandi and her company's love for community and conversation has remained true.
